Talk:Structure-based mutation analysis TSD

From Bioinformatikpedia

Unfortunately not all data is available yet. With the upcoming pictures for the structures it should be more clear.

However even without all data its still very understandable and very carefully evaluated.

Typos:

Table 1: The parameters are important for choosing the structcture

P182L section: P182 is on the surface of the Hex A alpha subunit and proline act as a helix breaker - i think it should be "acts"

S293I section: serine leads to a clashes with - exception: there are classified clashes as "a"

This would slightly change the protein's surface but should also no affect the binding to the beta subunit. - "not"

Conclusion SCWRL/FoldX: in several ones they do no, - again "not" or is it really possible to say so

I don't have much to add to what Vadim said. As always you did a good job and thorough analysis. I'm looking forward to the finished version.

Just one more thing: In the section for D207E you are talking about a "protein donor". Did you mean "proton donor"? --Bernhoferm 07:44, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
